“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

Mission Statement

Our Holy Martyrs Catechetical program offers every child an opportunity to gain experience and grow in their faith within our parish community. Through the sharing of our faith, Chaldean church tradition and teachings, we aim to form an active mature faith life that will sustain individuals along their ongoing religious journey. We strive to enrich their experience of God through the sharing of our own unique faith stories, as well as those of our ancestors in. Scripture and history, and nurture a deep friendship and relationship with our lord Jesus Christ.

The Catechism/First Holy Communion Program provide our students with:

  • Knowledge of the Faith
  • Knowledge of the meaning of the Liturgy and the Sacraments
  • A moral formation in Jesus Christ
  • Teach our students how to pray with Christ.
  • Prepare our students to live in community and to participate actively in the life and mission of the Church!

Finally, it is the primary goal of the program to ensure that all students learn in accordance with the Magisterium of the Church using the direction outlined in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The students will learn compassion and love for God and others through the traditions and truth of Catholicism.
